For this conversion we wanted to keep a nostalgic look so injectors are mounted in-board and

plumbing is done in black hose instead of fuel rails. Sysyetm is controlled by and Accel/DFI engine management system and custom Autotrend EFI harness

Update: Roush 511cid Shelby Cobra

The continuation Shelby Cobra is finished. This Cobra has a Roush 511 cid big block FE motor.

Like all of the Roush EFI packages, the drivability left a lot to be desired. The car was extremely difficult to start, idled very poorly and was running very rich. Autotrend EFI completely re-wrote the calibration (tune) and the car is a whole different car. Starting is great, the motor runs clean and crisp and idle quality and drivability is excellent. The engine management system is an Accel/DFI

We're running an Accel/DFI GEN 7 ECU and custom Autotrend EFI Wire Harness.

This car is on an actual NASCAR chassis and is very fast!
